"Do I look like a Roland?"
On June 11th I had the opportunity to see Colin with my wonderful wife Lucia for the first time after being such a devoted fan of him for so many years. I had never seen him act in person before and this was seriously a life changing experience for me. I was super nervous when we sat down at the theater and I'm thankful that Lucia was there with me to hold my hand. I still remember vividly that moment when Colin appeared on the stage as Owen and I accidentally squeezed too hard in Lucia's hand. It's just strange to see the person you've been admiring for ages right in front of you giving a phenomenal experience on stage.
It doesn't happen that often that Colin is using an Irish accent during one of his projects and now I was able to hear him use one all throughout this play. The accent he used for Owen was great. The character that he portrayed was insanely funny and comical. Colin has such a strong energy on stage, which is something I hadn't encountered before. He's one of a kind. Hearing him laugh in person is something that I'm still not over to this date. Just seeing him with my own two eyes made me respect and admire him even more than I already did.
I would sell my kidney to see Colin for the first time all over again because it's a once in a lifetime experience.
