How can I put my feelings for Parked into words??
Let's face it Parked is a movie which tears with your guts and makes you want to weep over and over again. It makes you sympathize with a junkie called Cathal who is forced to live in his car and who can't quit his tragic habit.
Colin had to smoke fake cigarettes to make his role look convincing and he succeeded. From all of the movies that Colin has done this is usually the one I end up watching the most even if it makes me bawl my eyes out. I guess that's what Colin does to you
While I was studying abroad in Dublin I had the chance of visiting the sight where the movie was filmed and the car park that was being used for Fred and Cathal's cars and where they lived. It was quite a strange but satisfying experience to see Dublin Bay with my own eyes and to get an insight of what the place was like for them. This place turned into my favorite to-go place in Dublin and I think that I've been there more than six times during my stay and it was wonderful.
